We had the chance to ride the LiveWire S2 Mulholland during a recent trip to New York, thanks to a loaner from the team – and we weren’t quite prepared for just how much attention this bike would grab on the streets.

First off, riding the Mulholland around the city was effortless. The bike’s power delivery is smooth and intuitive, making it ideal for navigating traffic and tight urban corners. The instant torque made getting off the line at lights feel sharp and responsive, while its lightweight build and nimble handling meant weaving through congested Manhattan streets felt confident and fun.

What really surprised us, though, was how much attention the S2 Mulholland got. Everywhere we stopped – from SoHo to the Brooklyn Bridge – people came up asking about it. The design is undeniably striking, with a sleek, futuristic silhouette that stands out in a sea of scooters and yellow cabs. Even in a city that’s seen it all, this bike turned heads.

Battery life wasn’t a concern for our daily riding, and the regenerative braking added to the smooth, efficient ride. It’s a great example of how electric motorcycles are becoming more practical – and desirable – for city use.
